Here’s 3 ways you can help right now:
Item of the month donation drive: Compile any beads/beading/jewelry supplies and tools you’re willing to donate (partial/random assortments are totally fine!) and drop them off at Guild (look for the red cart)!
Ongoing Collection: Save and fold any brown packing paper, kid-friendly magazines, and newspaper to donate monthly via our red cart.
Urgent Needs: Many teachers still have unfulfilled wish list items. Please help if/however you can to close the gaps and ensure Kzoo’s young artists have what they need to create this school year!
Please alert friends, family, and coworkers too so that we can get KPS art classes stocked up as quickly as possible!

Featured Event Details
NEW! Mini Model Painting Night — (11/4) Wednesday, 5–8pm. Join Guild regular Jordan for a night of mini model painting! All miniatures, models, and game pieces welcome. Bring your own model, or try one of our pre-primed minis! Open to ages 18+. Supplies are free and available until we run out.
Guild is guest-hosting the Vine Neighborhood Association’s Friday Artist Nights this month! Fridays, 11/13 & 11/20 from 5:30–8pm. Anyone interested is welcome to join this open studio meetup!
Upcoming Fermentation Workshops led by Sara Rio — Sundays, 11/22 & 12/20 from 1–2:30pm. We’ve got two more workshops coming up, including kimchi-making on November 22! Keep an eye out for full event info and sign-up details via Sara’s Instagram bio/links.
REASON TO PARTY! Guild’s First Anniversary + Upcycle Bar — (12/4) Friday, 5–8pm. Head to Guild during Art Hop to celebrate our 1-year anniversary with cake, a community gallery, and the return of our Upcycle Bar
Please send us photos of your work to feature in our community gallery! Email or DM @guildkalamzoo pics of anything you’ve made at Guild this year by November 14th (no matter how “good” you think it is ––any and all mediums and skill levels are welcome and will inspire others)!
Bring an item from home to upcycle with a new patch or stamp using Guild’s free supplies and tools (+ sewing help if needed from our volunteers)!
(Optional) Bring Your Own Cake: Feel free to decorate/bring a cake to share & celebrate! Please be sure to include a label if gluten-free, dairy-free, nut-free (if applicable).
